Lots of artists make the same type of music as pop girls now. For example, Let Me Love You by Ne-Yo, Don't Wake Me Up by Chris Brown, Scream by Usher.
To be honest, the only person who's still doing the R&B/pop type of music is Justin Bieber. The rest either do full on euro-dance-pop or full on urban now.
not here for your lies
Usher has a mix of both...actually, his latest album only had like 4-5 pop songs
Y'all do too much on Adam sometimes, tbh.
His music isn't as bad as some of you make it out to be, but anyway, we don't necessarily have a true male popstar yet because in this day and age men are afraid to take risk.
But believe me when I say, things are about to change.

Bruno Mars is far from flopping .. he is the most successful male artist, even more successful than JB.
I do agree with you. Female pop artists like Gaga, Beyonce, Katy, Rihanna and Ke$ha, P!nk are all unique in their own way. Bruno is the only one i find unique at the moment. Forget bout Pitbull, Flo Rida and David Guetta who isn't singing at all
I can just see 2 girls in the list who are unique and this SINCE years.
+ Adam Lambert is really underrated, he makes really good music.
Because in our days, if you're a male artist, whether you're talented or not, you need to be HOT to get attention. (Justin Bieber, One Direction).
You just a huge fanbase, a dance-beat with a catchy hook and there you have a hit. But for some years ago you had to work on your vocals, lyrics, instrumentals, music videos etc. music changed so much and this not in a good way.
All the male pop stars seem like little MJ wannabes in a way or another. Female pop stars are no different. Most are uninteresting except Bey and GaGa and they are rip offs themselves
