What's wrong with expressing yourself? Most of the ***** in high school try to stand out, so let him do him. Besides that, why don't you scream your faves when they express themselves? Some of them walk around looking a straight up who-did-it mess, but there's no noise from you.
Im all for expressing yourself but this type of stuff doesn't just affect him, it affects everyone around him. Its fine to be an individual but when that starts to affect other people then it's a problem. It doesn't take a scientist to figure out why the school would ban that. Also the style is stupid IMO. And If I sat near him or behind him, I would bitch to the teacher because it is affecting me.
Good, and in most schools in my area, you can't have distracting hairstyles or colors. I'm not sure why this is even a story. Certain things should be enforced when it comes to looks and individuality.
