Yeah, this thread isn't specifically about urban radio. It's about in general. A song that gets known outside of urban radio listeners obviously has the best chance of being iconic.
And look at me now did not have a bigger impact than dueces on urban radio. It may have been a bigger pop hit but on urban no, and this is why people that KNOWS urban radio & listeners should do polls like this & not becky or conner from the burbs.....

This poll is for in general. Like amongst the whole population. That's why most of the songs in the poll are ones that are well-known also outside the urban community.
The delusion in this thread. "The Motto", NIP & ESOF are the only iconic songs on this list and anyone who says otherwise is delusional. TM is clearly the most iconic though because it made the YOLO phrase popular.
WMN is a pop song. Just because it was a hit on Urban radio does not make it an urban song.
Maybe it's just me, but I've never come across anyone who says "YOLO." YOLO seems like a term Twitter users went crazy over. I just never noticed it outside of the Internet, while "that sh** cray" was really a popular phrase everywhere.
People at my school say both of these phrases all the time. I find it weird that you've never heard it.
and I don't even like Jay Z that much.
