When has Kelly? She barely promoted it in the US and she sang it outside the US for the first time like 1 month ago in a morning show. The song sold itself!

Btw, BHC may be iconic and classic and whatever but WW "common people" don't know it. I do only cause I've found it myself. It seems like everybody knows Stronger (WDKY) even here in Czech Republic and that means something!

i was referring to Nerevanin's post, even if a mainstream artist doesn't promote a song outside the US, it will do quite well, and we can't say the same about a country song.

Ah. Well Kelly really did only promote Stronger when it was released by the commercial and SNL.

Then went back to her tour not mentioning / promoting it at all

I know country isn't very popular outside the US, ok? And I didn't mean it as an offense. I just reacted to the post I quoted. I wanted to pointed out that WDKY wasn't promoted WW as well as BHC. But even when a song/album is a country one, it can chart pretty high WW. In Europe Taylor Swift did better with some her singles than some pop artists. But doesn't matter that's not why I wrote it.

And I wanted to say that it's great when you have a song that is considered being "classic" and "iconic" but it's too bad when no one knows it. But yep, that's the problem of country music, i know it.

Of course I mentioned how well did WDKY in Czech R., have you any idea how proud I am that my country finally likes Kelly?

Thrilled that Stronger finally outsold all the other Idol singles though..Kelly deserves that title

Also won't be surprised at ALL if Blown Away comes and takes that crown back. It'll only happen if Blown Away crosses over which I definitely think her label is going to aim for. They've gone all out with the promo and even made a trailer for the video, hyping it like crazy. We'll see but it'll be at least a month until anything more can be said about that.
