If artists could, they would. Most labels would die for their artists to be able to sell out venues and gross hundreds of millions of dollars. The fact that Gaga's average is still over $1,000,000 even with 200+ dates is incredibly impressive.

Stans look incredibly stupid when they say "Oh but Gaga did X amount of shows". Yes Gaga chooses a lot of dates but the fact that she can gross high from those dates is impressive because of the caliber of her demand.
It's amazing if you can do a tour with 200+ dates and have each date average at least 1 million.
