Think of the Trinity as Charlie's Angels, She would be Charlie.

So, she basically has them working for her? That sounds... right.

And Duca, if you're really trying to use critical success to keep Britney in the trinity, you might as well look at the amount of awards Gaga and Beyonce have won in the last couple of years compared to Britney. Rihanna or Adele take her place when it comes to that.
|
Both are highly critically acclaimed outside the Grammys. Britney received three lifetime achievement awards in the last two years. I don't care about Rihanna's 40 Barbados Music Awards.

Madonna - the true queen of pop, with the ability to smash the charts before even debuting.

nobody remains part of "the trinity" forever, and people can also be temporarily in the trinity if they're successful enough. with time comes change... but if we don't embrace that change, it will eat us alive. let the cockney non-traditoinal pop star live out her moment in the pop spotlight, for it is still her time as of now. if she can't be in the trinity, she shall be above it where the past year and current portion of 2012 is concerned.

I don't have anything against her, but the Monsters sometimes annoy me when they try it with Madonna and then act as if Gaga is the second coming of Jesus Christ.
|
Hun, even with that 80% drop, her second week was higher than Rihanna and Katy's first week and Britney's album didn't even break platinum, so stop. BTW also went on to sell more than FF and "4" combined times two.
If Adele is part of the trinity, then we must knock Britney out.

And she's still not a popstar.

Some of these members are making me cringe. I remember why I left that stanbase.
But anyway, still screaming @ "70's" and JLo being alone in the groups.

Yet you were saying in the OP that Britney, Gaga, and Beyonce are the current trinity. Metacritic ain't everything. Awards speak much better. Rihanna is in, Britney is out. Accept and deal

It wasn't bigger than Rihanna's and Katy's first weeks. Britney's album had two promo performances. It’s not comparable. And it also didn't sell more than 'Femme Fatale' and '4' combined, times two.
