Not over, but I can see pop avoiding her, causing lower peaks and sales. Probably a downward slide coming but she'll still have a fair amount of success.
Of course she'll get some backlash, but her career is obviously not over. She just had the biggest song of her career. And, if Chris Brown can come back, she will too.
Chris Brown never recovered. He's deplored by most of the media and buying public.
But he still kills on Rhythmic/Urban airplay. If it comes to the worst, that'll keep Rihanna alive as well. Not anywhere near where she is now but still doing well.
Her second album sold more than her first, and her third sold more than her second. Loud improved from Rated R.
Okay. and my point is, her sales have never been extremely high to begin with, so I can't imagine them taking too much more of a hit, but you never know tbh.

I see what you mean. I can't see her selling well (at least initially) without a hit.

what are you talking about. Chris is back and just as sucessful as ever. most of his singles have been hitting the 3 million mark and he just won a grammy. He is also always played on my local pop radio station.
I don't see why Rihannas career would be hurt at all by this. It's just a song and Chris is really popular right now. This is a really smart idea. Is this even confirmed though?
