How many people know what Ramadan is or anything about Arabian people besides fallafel, alladin, and terrorists?

Plenty of people, just not many mainstream Americans. I'm not even Arab (or other Middle Eastern ethnicity or a Muslim), but this annoys me:
a) Ramadan is celebrated my Muslims, not Arabs. Not all Arabs are Muslim and the vast majority of Muslims are not Arab (or other Middle Eastern ethnicity); most Muslims are in the other Asian countries like Pakistan, China, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Bangladesh, etc.
b) Aladdin the story is of Arab origin, but the character was actually Chinese. Yes, there were plenty of Chinese Muslims back then and still around 20 million. There are European Muslims too in countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina where they're the majority religion.
c) When people talk about terrorist breeding grounds, they think of Afghanistan and Pakistan and call them "Arab" but neither countries are Arab countries. They're not even in the Middle East!
