Uhm, no. Gaga went #1 in 23 countries (all countries at the time). Countries are being added all of the time. There could have been 100 countries and BTW would have topped them all. There's no record when there's an unfair advantage. Now if MDNA would have topped ALL of the countries before BTW topped all of the countries at the time, then that would be a record.

After a whole year of its release, I keep skipping "Born This Way", and don't give me the whole "You're a Madonna stan" ********, because I am a Gaga fan, too. I was promised "the album of the decade" by Gaga herself, Elton said it would be better than "I Will Survive" (!), and BTW happens.... Actually, after the pop masterpiece that was TFM (one of my ALL TIME favorite albums, and bear in mind that I am a Madonna stan since her "Ray Of Light" days), I was expecting nothing short of a spectacle of a lead single.

Regarding GMAYL, I had already heard the demo , so I knew what I was getting. I think the production improved it slightly, so it's not that bad; it's tolerable, which is not good either, especially considering it is Madonna we're talking about.

To sum it up: I expected a lot more from Gaga than what I expected from the finalized GMAYL, so my vote goes for BTW.

This is utter bollocks as proven time and time again when ATRLers stan for current non-factors etc etc. It depends purely on the person, do some people hop on and off chart bandgwagons? yes. Does that mean everyone does? **** no.
