Suicide isn't a rational thought process, that's kind of the point.

Because he "seemed happy at home".
Many children do not wish to become a burden and hide their emotions to make life easier for others.
It was a mistake keeping such thoughts locked up looking at the end result.

In sweden, the father of a extremely bullied kid, shot the bullies with a gun, from home. One died.
The father wasn't charged for it in the end.
Vengeance, hard payback is the only answer. You need to make example and scare the bullies shitless.

Yes, we all know suicide is not the answer, WHICH IS WHY WE NEED TO BE ANGRY AT THE BULLIES WHO DROVE THESE KIDS TO KILL THEMSELVES.

That just creates a cycle of hate and loss.
It's not going to solve anything in the end.

I know, im sorry. I just wish there was a way to make them have stronger personalities instead of fooling them thinking it will be okay just because.

Yeah, silly, but that was just some sort of example. A bit drastic example.

Bullying won't stop. They should focus on making kids stronger and helping them realize that what some idiots say about them in high school means nothing in the grand scheme of things and that 10, 15 years down the line they'll have forgotten it even happened.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I wasn't trying to imply anything about your personal life. I meant to say that the two statements I bolded seem to conflict each other.

Here we go again. Bullying won't stop, so we should stop trying?
You do realize you just described It Gets Better, right? Telling kids that things will be okay and they're better than their detractors? That's kind of the whole point.

I agree with this. There are so many worse things in life/happening in the world. What it needs to be developed are teen's personalities, you have to stand your ground.
I suffered bullying through high school too for being the only gay kid but I never ever thought about suicide being the answer, things always can get better.
It doesn't mean something has to be done to reduce bullying.

I suffered bullying through high school too altough it was light but I never ever thought about suicide being the answer, things always can get better.

It Gets Better and other programs are working on this. Why shouldn't we also go after the people who CAUSE the problem? I don't understand

What is wrong with these kids?
It's not like homosexuality just started being bullied against now. These kids are getting weaker.
The sympathy is making them soft. I obviously feel bad but we should stop preaching about anti-bullying and start preaching about STRENGTH.

Oh okay, it's my bad.
But I think you perfectly understand anyway, Patrick.
Temporary = School Time.
