Favorite Tracks: Countdown, Rather Die Young, Party f/ Andre 3000, Love on Top, Best Thing I Never Had
After the I Am...Tour, Beyonce killed Sasha Fierce and prepared another album for her fans. 4 is a really different album from her previous efforts. In this album, you can really feel and appreciate her music soul because in every song, she puts so much vocal effort. The first single, Run The World (Girls) has that club banger beat and catchy chorus about female empowerment. Best Thing I Never Had is a power ballad about being proud to let go a person who hurt you but still have feeling for that person. Party proves that you a party song can be played even it is not a dance or techno song. The presence of Andre 3000 made the song more special. My favorite track, Countdown, samples a song from Boyz II Men, and it really spices up the song. The trumpets and beats also made the song excellent. Love on Top and Rather Die Young are sweet melody tracks about loving a person so much. Other tracks like 1+1, I Care. and I Miss You are also ballad ear candies. Beyonce sure knows how to make a great and critically acclaimed album for both critics and fans.

After some paparazzi troubles, rehabilitation, and resigning from her own TV show, Demi Lovato focus more on music and the result, an album that shows her maturity in music scene. She worked with Ryan Tedder, Dev, Kerli, Jason DeRulo, Iyaz, Missy Elliot and a lot of good producers in this album. Her first single, Skyscraper is a heartbreaking song about fighting the people who screams negativity in your head. So far, it is her biggest hit. Her next single, Give Your Heart A Break, a good song about letting go of someone. Who's That Boy is a seductive song featuring the sex-crazed bitch Dev. Your My Only Shorty shows that she can mix bubblegum pop and a little bit of R&B. All Night Long, the album opener that features Missy Elliot and Timbaland, is a fun club track and she seduce a boy with this song. The best song in the album is For the Love of Your Daughter. She is suppose to release this back then but her emotions can't handle it so she postponed it and this time, she had courage to let the people listen to it. It's about a daughter-father relationship. She puts so much emotion in the song, the reason why I love it. Other recommendable tracks are Hold Up,Lightweight, and In Real Life. If you will give a try to this album, you will forget that she made 2 teenage bubblegum pop album.
