But this would be before you knew you would be lucky enough to have it well and enjoy it.

How do you explain the fact then that a gay male's brain is more similar to a heterosexual female's than a heterosexual male's?
Not to mention, did you really come out of the womb craving whatever you crave?

It's possible to be born gay, and it's possible to NOT be born gay. There has been many studies on both sides confirming what they thought or once believed. It's impossible to tell, which is why I quoted you

First of all, that has nothing to do with being gay sweetie.
Second of all, a 2 year old has already started to gain much of their personality.
We're born a BLANK canvas and in the first couple years of life, we take
in every single tiny bit of information and all of it helps shape who we become.

Sexuality and sexual attraction are two different things IMO.
I admit that Britney is sexy, but I'm not sexually attracted to her.

I'm confused.

The "chose to be gay" argument has been out there forever. We've all heard it before. No one who uses it ever brings anything new to the table.

It has. Being gay is not only about dick or ***...it's about a variety of things. You may have sex with a dick or ***, but it doesn't make you gay/straight.
And there has been studies done that say you're not born with a blank canvas, but born with innate things that has the ability to shape into other things throughout your experiences

clearly based on the arguments, sexuality is not black and white.
I think everyone is born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes, and through a combination of social stigmas and psychological variables, your sexuality is somewhat chosen for you without your knowledge.

But if someone came up to you and said:
You can be gay or straight.
You can be a straight male, never be looked at as: odd, a sinner, weird, can't get married, can't have children, never experience homophobia, family neglect, etc...etc....
There's no way someone would still be straight.

Oy vey.
Excuse me but who are you to tell anyone what they would think in that type of situation? Shockingly, there are plenty of gay men who are comfortable and satisfied with who they are as gay men, including myself. And there are plenty of gay people who grew up in loving, accepting households and never experience the kind of bigotry and ignorance you seem to think every gay person is doomed to encounter. It is possible to be a happy, well-adjusted gay person. We live in a day and age where gays and lesbians are starting to be accepted and even respected as positive, contributing members of society. Not to mention the fact that as a gay male, I have gone through so many unique experiences that have shaped me as an individual and made me so much stronger and more independent than I would have been had I been a heterosexual.
So yes, dear, there are some of us queens that are happy and satisfied just the way we are.

How would you explain me having a twin who grew up the exact same way I did, but he's straight and I'm gay?

I think what he's basically saying is that if you were asked the question before birth (what sexuality you want to be), no one would choose to be gay because there is no guarentee you would have a nice life, it's more than likely it would be horrible.

So you're telling me we can figure out if a new born will be gay
or not just by looking @ their brain?
Why hasn't this been done?

It's a discussion, I'm actually enjoying it for once. It hasn't gotten messy yet.

This is exactly why I think we were born gay - gay men come from all different walks of life, so do straight and bi men.

I concur
I believe that you aren't really attracted to anyone, but because of biological factors you are MORE prone to be sexually attracted to one, the other, or both. And through the help of your surroundings and experiences it finalizes whatever blanks that may be left to fill in
