The Trip is a blast. I watched it with my straight friends (girls and boys). We laughed our asses off. And then we also cried... such a gem.
I've really enjoyed The Rules of Attraction - it's not REALLY gay (one of the main characters is gay though, he's played by Ian Somerhalder), but I found it to be very interesting.
Mysterious Skin is disturbing but indeed very good.
I'm sorry but Shank was a poor execution of what they were trying to portray. It sucks. Shelter might be more cheesy, but at least it lives to what it's supposed to be. Shelter >>>>
But I've seen a lot of these and most of them are amazing.
