It started with "Girls." Some people barely gave it a chance before the finalized version was released. Hell, people were shading "Girls" even before the demo came out bcuz of the song's title was "like 'Run This Town' + 'Only Girl (In The World)" - which was just STUPID shade. The AVALANCHE of negativity + the leak + LATE & spotty promo + lack of radio payola plays = flop song. But for all the **** the song has been thru, it's still talked about, it gets praised by other artists, it's getting covered by Glee, & its video nearing 100M views on YouTube & is raking up VMA/EMA noms/wins. It's a pretty relevant flop song.
"Best" is just dated. Straight out of 2006/2007 Irreplaceable era. Having a dated sound isn't necessarily bad, but the sound isn't right for today's radio. "California King Bed" has a similar sound and didn't do amazing either.
The public needs to get in contact with Rihanna so that We can Find Love? on the charts.
#oopT. It's probably in a hopeless place at the Bubbling Bubbling Bubbling under album chart.(See I gave her her own chart so she can look good, I'm so nice)
