Did she lie? I think the dance music that Kelis does is great club music, while Katy's is like whiny teen pop for me. That was a bit rude of her though.
Although I see some pressed people mentioned sales. Kelis only spoke music. Guess some people just don't know how to speak music and only speak sales. #oop
I personally prefer Tasty and Kelis Was Here, but Flesh Tone was pretty good.
Blindfold Me.
I do agree about Tasty & KWH. If anything she would be a flop for having real talent. Something we know multiple artist aren't capable of claiming. She's the Queen of Underration
Not much to say, she's obviously jealous. Doesn't really bother me, Katy is on top of her game for the most part so it's no surprise she has a few haters. Kelis is that one hit wonder who did the Milkshake song right? Who the hell is she to talk, no one gives a **** about her anymore.
like she just puts out music thats any better than katy's
she just pressed like those silly monsters and LBOE
Hits =/= talent and/or quality. Part of the reason Katy has hits is because she caters to the public's want for generic, crappy pop music.

Why would she be jealous? Kelis is critically and commercially successful while the critics constantly tear Katy apart and don't take her seriously.

What does hits have to do with good music (or bad in this case)? That's what she is talking about. The fact that you can't even defend the music itself and hide behind the number ones makes it even more true. Just because a song is number one doesn't make it a better song that only made it at number one on the bubbling charts.
