You care to finish you're asinine statement?
Explain to me what Lady GaGa has ever done to seem not genuine towards the gay community. Before she was famous, I remember reading an article about her where she was talking about gay rights and how important they are to her. And to think that an ARTIST would write lyrics empowering the LGBT community, and having to sing those words EVERY NIGHT, that she was somehow "faking it" for publicity is ridiculous.
It's a shame you feel the need to mock someone who is actually trying to make a legitimate contribution to society.

Someone explain to me how Gaga is using gays when gays were here for her before anyone knew who she was hence her performing in gay clubs?
Wasn't she at the gay rally?
Isn't she bisexual?
Didn't she cut her Target deal due to their anti gay actions?
She doesn't even really bring up gay as much as the people around her bring up gay.

You're right and its not like someone can have an intellectual conversation on ATRL.
I can't believe how much shes using her stans, why would she do that to them.

Right, because we all know how trendy homosexuality is

But Target has a bad reputation with the gay community.
I don't think she'd rather loose 99.999% of her fans and gain that 10 million promo campaign (like it wasn't already maxed out )

She still said "A different lover is not a sin".
Should Ke$ha be considered to be lying about liking to party (because that's what her whole discography is about) if she cut part of a song while performing it?

Was we asking about Ke$ha? No.

She stated in the interview:
Quote:
“At the end of the day I could be rolling around in Rolls-Royces, buying mansions for myself, making records, and dancing around in my underwear. But to be honest, I’m not interested in doing that at all. I’d rather be at rallies with the fans, being a part of their voice, helping to mobilize and enforce change. If people don’t believe me, they don’t have to be a part of it.”

MrMinum falls into the Vin school of mentality where it's not genuine until at least 10 gays are dead, everyone is talking about it, and you slap a fake gay-friendly label on your latest 'drinking in the club' song to profit from the media exposure.

I will not waste any time in here trying to convince anyone that her support of the gay community is as genuine as it could possibly be. At the end of the day, all the signs are there that she really means it, she cancelled her Target deal for God's sake and she's actively and visibly done way more for the cause than almost any other celebrity has done for theirs. If you are choosing to hate against an artist who actively fights for your rights (assuming you are gay, which you probably are since you're on atrl) rather than be happy that somebody as high-profile and influential as Lady Gaga is willing to advance your cause that's just sad and nobody can help you.

Based on that statement the sole purpose was to profit from gays only, no no matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgender life. She wants everyone

2 words: time constraint
And it must be pretty debilitating having no long term memory. Because if you did, you would remember her singing that part of the song on SNL, the GRAMMYS and her HBO special.
But then again, those instances don't fit into your argument, so there's no reason to bring them up.

Well if I stanned for any of them I would probably get tired of their cause too
