Well, her week-to-week sales in the U.S. ARE sagging. Nothing that the article is saying is false.
Yeah, she sold 1.5 million in 6 weeks, but a heavy percentage of those sales was from the first week. In her 6th week, she is only moving 35k+? C'mon now. It's not really about her total, but the trajectory looks off. You can say that an album that opened with 450k first week and does an overall total of 1.5 million in sixth weeks is the same as GaGa opening with 1.1 million in the first week and selling a total of 1.5 million in sixth weeks. However, there is one major difference: the former is showing a better trajectory than the latter, and it is most likely that the former will see more longevity on the charts and go on to sell more. It's really not that hard to understand. Of course her overall numbers are great in the grand scheme of things, but she is not showing strength or that she can have longevity on the charts.
Okay. Some Monsters need to read the article, they expected some drop from Gaga but not that steep. Remember they are also human who make mistakes just like predicting sales of albums but the real sales come up short to what they initially projected especially during release week.

Falling4Rihanna, keep it mute with Born This Way's sales and have several seats especially when she already outsold 4, if not more, of the people's in your signature albums in 6 weeks.
Anyways, yes, her US week-to-week, as Cap10Planet said, aren't that good. But when you sell 40k in the US and 221k WW, there's nothing to worry about.
