Adele? Seriously? All of the non-singing/non-dancing, no talent hacks that are worshiped on this site filled with delusion, and you ask if ADELE is overrated?
Some of you need to just step away from the computer, take a deep breath, close your eyes, and repeat to yourselves three times "I am not my fave." There is no reason to be so invested in the success of a total stranger that it makes you jealous when another total stranger is more successful.
As for the question, I think Adele has a lot of bandwagoners these days, and I do not think 21 is amazing. However, I do think it's damn good and I absolutely put down $12 to get a physical copy. 21 might be somewhat overrated, but Adele is not. She has the big three: commercial success, critical acclaim, and the respect of the public. That is more than most of your faves could ever hope for, and you all will simply have to deal with the praise she receives (and deserves).
