I bought it, I wasn't a fan but I love Lupe and I wish him all the success in the world, he definitely deserves it, my only problem was that I know Lu can do a lot better. However still Lasers > the majority of Rap being put out recently

I bought it too, but I feel like maybe I shouldn't have. If none of his core fanbase buys the album and sales aren't so great, maybe Atlantic will (finally) get the message that this isn't what his fans want.

I, for one, love it. The singles are fantastic. If anything it will hopefully give him the recognition he deserves. Going commercial can do that for you.

That album isn't THAT bad guys.. Is it as god as the cool? food and liquor? no, but it's STILL a solid album and ***** on most rap albums released recently.

220-240k is the first week prediction. I wouldn't be surprised if he comes in below this prediction, since hip-hop albums tend to be front-loaded, but great numbers nonetheless.

His second week sales will definitely see a huge drop, perhaps a 75% drop. But congrats to Lupe. He will have a #1 album.
