What is that Palestine simply needs to get it together with Israel and collaborate to find a solution. That's what Israel has been trying to do, if only the others were keen on diplomacy maybe it'd be easier.

But NOT while there are terrorist organisations (Hamas) in the Palestinian unity government. As long as countries continue to fund the Palestinian unity government, they are funding terrorists.
Mark my words, though, the Israel will disarm when its enemies do. But if Israel disarmed first, its enemies would destroy it. That should tell you all you need to know about who we should be protecting.

Before describing settlements as illegal, you should bear in mind that Palestine isn't, nor has ever been, a state. The State of Palestine can only come to being through direct negotiations with Israel. This resolution makes negotiations, and thus a Palestinian State, less likely.

It's NOT that hard to get!
People saying give them back their land when it wasn't even theirs to begin with.

Is that what the media has been feeding you? Cause that is extremely false. Israel has been doing what it wants for years now. Breaks international law all the time.

If they have to break the law to defend themselves from their neighbors who treat them like ****, then so be it.

Ah yes of course why hadn't they thought of that, you have the answer and have it all figured out. Israel has been in favour and has been building illegal settlements on palestinian land for decades now, in disregard of international law, they have been bombing civilians , even going as far as using white phospurus (Google it to see the effects it had), netenyahu clearly said there would not be a Palestinian state, yet you still blame those who are living under occupation.

1. Double standards.
2. I'm sure Israel is the one being threatened by the neighbors mostly. 100% positively sure. Right.

I honestly don't care one way or another, but I want the US to stop sending monetary aid to Israel. Israel is economically stable and can support itself. That money should be given to struggling states in the US.

How is building homes on other people's lands defending Israel? Surely that would anger the people's whose land is being taken from them and endanger Israel more. If you really want peace for both countries why are out not against illegal settlements , it makes no sense

Israel-Palestine conflict has always confused me.
I don't even read articles about it because I just don't know enough to have an opinion. Teach me sestras.

If your opposing government had THIS as part of its founding charter, you may also be a little more defensive than international law allows you to be...

You beat me to the punch, that's the exact same piece of advice I was about to give to Darren.
You cannot reason with ignaramouses the likes of which pollute this thread and forum with their anti-semitism, hypocrisy, and embarrassing lack of historical knowledge. An ignorance so profound and so absolute, it makes creationists and geocentrics look like Einsteins and Da Vincis.

I didn't support Trump, but with the Jew-hating Obama administration acting this way at the end of its term, I am so glad he won the election.
Trump will maintain and rebuild the election with the US's most important allies (the UK and Israel).

It is kind of sick Trump calls himself the most pro-American president when there's homeless and sick war vets on the ****ing streets while he supports the continued sending of BILLIONS to Israel to play around when the country itself is full of billionaires.
Time for Israel to start paying its damn share. The free ride on America's dime is over.

To leftists? No. Palestine haven't launched a single rocket into Israel, and Hamas is a peaceful organisation who has been a victim of Israel and didn't immediately kill all its political rivals after being elected in the Gaza...

Good on Kerry honestly. I can't believe any person would honestly defend Israel. It's in the Middle East, yet most Middle Eastern countries absolutely hate Israel. Loathe Israel. Why? I'm sure it's not because these countries are uniting with each other. I'll tell you why, because Israel has tried to take over so many lands. Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon. Israel always wants what isn't theirs, and honestly where's the limit? So many international laws broken. I'm glad more influential countries are waking up to Israel's extreme evil ways. I applaud you Obama for your amazing administration. You'll be missed.
