Recent advances in medicine have stopped HIV to progress to AIDS. The same applies to straight people not just gay community. Why is HIV still a stigma in our society? I am not HIV+ but I don't mind to date someone with HIV+ provided they take their meds properly. To prove my point, state whether you can date anyone with HIV or not.

There are some sick people out there who will pass HIV onto someone out of spite or anger. There are many responsible rational HIV+ people out there, but there's no telling which.
That's why there will always be a stigma like all other STD's until there's a cure.
