1989 deserved to win since E•MO•TION wasn't nominated. It was only fair. I bought Kendrick's album (albeit because of the hype) and Good Kidd is much better to me so it deserves its other accolades just not AOTY.

I'm a Beck stan dumbass. Saying he won due to # of credits is discrediting him + his work. Look up the definition of discredit. Even though it wasn't the best album released during the eligibility period, it was the best album nominated and won accordingly.
