my promotion idea:
1) surprise release an album with 2 disks. Giving apple exclusive selling for first day and exclusive streaming of the entire album for at least the first week. Each album will be 2 disks so that way each sale counts as 2 sales (bc thats the rule). Each disk has 8 tracks. (the target edition will have an extra track on each disk, as well as as each disk having an acoustic version of 1 song from the each... so 20 tracks in all on the target edition)
2) PROMOTE it like never before.
3) Each physical copy will have a ticket in it with a number on it. Each state will have 13 tickets with the number 13 on it. The ones with the 13 on it will have to enter a code on the back of the ticket on
http://taylorswift.com and be guaranteed 2 tickets to a show of their choice with a guest as well as a M&G. Each target edition will have 2 tickets increasing odds. This will work because people like instant gratification and will keep people buying more physical albums than they did bc of polaroids in 1989. Also make it so you are unable to return the disk for a new one.
4) Let spotify have the singles for premium members (and eventually the album when spotify gets rid of free memberships -- which they will)
