Shontelle - No Gravity
Despite the embarrassing flop, the album is very solid. Only filler is 'Helpless' but the bonus track 'Evacuate My Heart' makes up for that mess. I think that despite the change in direction, her new style is definitely more fitting than 'Shontelligence', and I hope that the flop doesn't stop her from making more music.

Miley Cyrus - Can't Be Tamed
Much like the previous album, this one also didn't deserve to flop. The only issue I have is her changing her image too soon. She was still 'Hannah Montana' to many people, and 17 is too young to be acting so ****ty IMO.But, it is definitely her best effort so far and I love the new sound.

Gabriella Cilmi - Ten
I can guarantee that most of you probably wont know/have listened to this. It kinda flopped (is there a pattern here?) but it's a much stronger album than her debut. Full of techo songs that manage to avoid being generic, the album is packed with hits that show of Cilmi's unique vocals. Considering she was forced into making this album in under a year, the outcome is surprisingly brilliant. I recommend a listen.

Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday
This is where it starts to get interesting. It was SO difficult ordering my top 7 cos I love all of them so much. Nicki's debut is possibly the first rap album I have ever anticipated. I love her character, her style and her music. I love how she isn't afraid to take risks and also how she hates fat kim, cos i do too. The album shows off plenty of angles of her personality. She sings her way through the emotional 'Save Me', she goes IN on 'Romans Revenge', and she samples one of the most underrated songs EVER on 'Dominoes'.

Ellie Goulding - Bright Lights
I was't a fan of Stayy Eyed but Guns & Horses got me hooked on her. Her debut was fantastic, and her re-release even more so. Her voice is so unique its crazy, she is definitely here to stay.
