That's not what Billboard said.

even if Gaga outsells, think about how close Eminem got. His album was released halfway into 2010, and it still managed to only miss the top spot by what? Like, 50,000 copies. 2010 is undoubtedly Eminem's year. Gaga may have had hits this year, but Eminem smashed the charts and managed to have bigger hits than she did.

That is truly amazing, but dont forget the fame monster was released in 2009
So the majority of its big week sales were in 2009 while it was at its freshest

True, but it was Gaga...she is unavoidable these days. Plus she released it late in 2009, and the big promotions (like her grammy wins and performances in 2010) definitely helped. Can't forget about the VMA's, either.

& Gaga is missing out on 3,000,000+ sales by releasing at the end of 2009 and having the EP available separately. Eminem may have owned this year in the US, but on a WW scale then 2010 is definitely Gaga's year.

The last time she performed was August though, and she hasn't released a single since April.

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream: 1.823.000 + (lets say another 153K next week) + (Lets say 200K in the last week of the year) = 2.176.000
Rihanna - Loud: 1.227.000 (around 400.000 with the boost in the UK, Ireland and hopefully in the US and worldwide too) + (another 450K with the last week of the year boost) = 2.077.000
Which means... in 6 weeks loud would probably be at the level of TD worldwide

i was checking the sales from the same week one year ago, and the sales have decreased a lot, but about half (the top 5 at least), so crazy.
the music business is going down

You think LOUD will sell, in 2011 (so not counting it's current numbers) more than GaGas, Britneys, Beyonces, Kellys, and Avrils album!?
