BRIGHT LIGHTS BIGGER CITY - CEE LO GREEN
Cee Lo's signature vocals over a beat reminiscent of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean".
GIMMIE DAT - CIARA
I really don't know what happened to this song. It sounded like a hit to me and Ciara even went all out for the video. It failed to chart on the Hot 100 and peaked in the 60s on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts. I recommend turning the volume and bass all the way up when listening to this.
CAN'T BE FRIENDS - TREY SONGZ
Great song. Great lyrics. When i listened to PP&P, this was the standout track besides Nicki's verse on Bottoms Up.
START IT UP (FEAT. KANYE WEST, FABOLOUS, SWIZZ BEATZ & RYAN LESLIE) - LLOYD BANKS
One of the best hip-hop collaborations this year. Swizz has been on a roll with the catchy hooks lately. Favorite line.. "..told her I aint paying tonite I’m only browsing. She pulled her blouse up, said “it’s free”, I said WOWZER!"
HYPNOTIZE U - N.E.R.D.
The last song I actually liked by N.E.R.D. was "She Wants to Move" and that was YEARS back. I bought their last CD "Seeing Sounds" which was TERRIBLE just so I could get Pharrell to sign it. He did sign it and so did Jay-Z...long story. So back to the song...I saw them perform it on Letterman and I've loved it ever since. Sounds like a stripper song.
SAY AAH (FEAT. FABOLOUS) - TREY SONGZ
Trey Songz does his best Jamie Foxx "Blame It" impersonation, which was Jamie Foxx's best T-Pain impersonation and the result is great. Listened to this about a million times this year. Still not sure if the song is about alcohol or sexual innuendo....or both?
