I don't think the album itself was influential but it was definitely near the start of a sonic trend.

It was more like a group of writers/producers (pretty much Julia Michaels + Justin Tranter) worked heavily on this album, found commercial success from it and then went to work heavily on a bunch of other albums and songs.

It's not like writers/producers and singers heard the album and were inspired to steal a bit of its sound, but more like the same people involved went on to make more similar music with different artists.

Both Revival and Glory have about the same writers/producers, and both albums are production driven, so it's no surprise they'll sound the same.
