Haha I have been reading that one on and off for two years. And I am only on page 500.
Name:
Wuthering Heights
Rating: 92/100
Explanation: I really enjoyed this! We read it for my AP English class, and I found that it was a really captivating, twisted love story. I loved the gothic undertones that were present that made it interesting as an example of American Romanticism.
Name:
The Odyssey
Rating: 100/100
Explanation: Being of Greek origin, I have ALWAYS wanted to read this book. It was captivating and very interesting. Even the repetition that was wrought out of the style of the period didn't bog it down! Loved it so much...everyone should read this book.
Name:
Crime and Punishment
Rating: 93/100
Explanation: My only problem with this book was the fact that it took me for-freaking-ever to read. Other than that, I thought that the psychological insights that Dostoevsky had on Raskolnikov and others was incredibly powerful. The novel was very slow at points, but then really fast most of the time.
