I used to think that the trinity consisted ITZ, Blackout and Circus, but Glory topped Circus (and maybe even ITZ)

It's really good but lacks direction. It's basically just a collection of sex bops. It doesn't feel like there's an ounce of authenticity in most of the lyrics. Also, the tracklist doesn't flow very well. They sprinkle all of the "slow" songs in the beginning and then it just becomes never ending bops. These reasons are ultimately why it will never compete with Blackout or ITZ for me, not even Britney really.

As a stan I'm pretty torn. On one hand, it's very annoying how much everyone is overrating the album, but I understand why when BJ was so bad. On the other hand, it's so refreshing hearing some of her best vocals since Blackout, and the production is SO good, but I still can't get over the album's lack of direction. It could've easily competed with ITZ if the album was more diverse and had some more mature themes.

I honestly don't know how someone would actually listen to Britney Spears nowadays. Her music is trash and her voice (if any) is trash, she performs like a zombie and is as stiff as ever... it seriously blows my mind.

Anyway, Britney can still sound like Britney but the production is very rooted in the trends of the past year.

Her best album since Blackout, definitely.

My rates for it averaged at 7.9/10, that seems fair.
It's heights (Invitation, Man on the Moon, Private Show & Just Like Me) are phenomenal but its' lows (Clumsy ) are way too basic for someone of Britney's calibre.
