I know this thread was made to "sl*t shame" a certain person who was born in the Caribbean but i don't know why being naked,showing your body(which the fave of the thread starter does a lot by the way,just have a look at his avi) equals to wanting to get a profit out of it,sales,fame whatever etc.
Male popstars perform shirtless often and no ones insults them,in fact they get praised on ATRL:"Daddy come and get it,roll up the partition babe,impregnate me daddy"
But when a female pop star does the same:"She doesn't have talent so she gets naked to get attention"

I love the double standars,specially coming from someone who stans for someone like Beyoncé

My favourite use of nudity is Lady Gaga.

I feel most of the time the public and even her fans don’t understand that she’s actually parodying pop music while serving you pop bops. She’s essentially serving you the very idea that you expect of popstars (or at least she was), so she debuted in crazy outfits, having an outlandish, pop persona, singing almost nonsensical lyrical hooks, blonde, singing, dancing, etc.

And part of that was the nudity. Gaga is not an inherently sexy woman. I find her to be very beautiful, but she doesn’t have the sex appeal of a Rihanna or Britney. Thus, her nudity was performative and not so much to titillate but as a reference to our pop music culture.

Partial nudity does not include swimwear. Partial nudity is like being naked but not showing any of “nude” parts. That would be like butt cracks, heavy cleavage without wearing anything else, etc.

Otherwise, any children’s movie that has a scene with a pool or a beach would have to be labelled as having “partial nudity”.

Also that avatar is Beyoncé selling bathing suits, not using her body to sell music. Though admittedly she does do partial nudity in her videos, but Beyoncé to me is not a good example of someone using their body for attention when most of her fans are women or gay men who are applauding her body not being tricked into paying attention to her because of it.

All you have to do it google it. There are a plethora of nudes of Rihanna. You'll never find
a full frontal nude shot of Beyonce. I shouldn't know what Rih's twat looks like.
