Discussion: Who died at your High School?

There was this girl I knew Christina. We had started grade 10 in the same experimental school together (the school had a booster juice on the second floor, a hockey rink on the first floor and a walking track on the first floor, it's called the ELC in Fort St. John, Canada if you want to get a better idea). Anyway, it was the first year in my life that I decided to be outgoing. I made friends with this girl who I thought was amazing (later turned out to be a compulsive liar). So everytime Christina would try and approach me, my other friend and I would go away. Or sometimes make jokes about her. I was nice in between, but not the best I could've been. She had this birthday party for her seat sixteen that barely anyone showed up to. All she wanted was friendship and love. I remember she must've been going through hardships because she stole some booster juice coupons that were supposed to be won. My friends and I made fun of that as well. She loved drawing too. So grade 11 rolls around and we move to the regular highschool in that town. I barely have any friends there, so we eat more lunches together. I find out she's struggling with her weight, but her parents won't let her try to eat more healthy alternatives. Even in those last few months I wasn't the best friend I could've been. It becomes the fall/winter and in the first week she starts making her own friends, gets her own group of people she can connect with and looks the happiest she ever has; she passes away. She had epilepsy and didn't wake up one morning. It's been almost 4 years now and I can never forget that. When people found out she died, the kids that all went to school with her, they didn't show any sign of sympathy. They were joking about it. It made me feel sick. Everything I do now. I keep her in mind and hope she's in a better place.

So many people. A girl on the cheer team who was 2 years older than me died her senior year. She was in a car with some guys hill hopping (It's a southern thing, basically you drive fast as **** and whenever you get to the hill you go airborne momentarily) (No, I've never done it personally) and they hit a tree. The tree cut her leg off and she bled out, she was the only one in the car that died. My senior year a freshman girl killed herself (I don't know the details) & one guy died from carbon monoxide poisoning. They were all devastating situations ![:(](http://www.atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/frown.gif)

One girl I knew sort of well died in a bad car crash our Junior year. She and some of her friends had skipped school to go to the beach and drink. She insisted she could drive because she was less drunk and ended up hitting a car head on on the way back. She was the only one in the car that died. ![cries](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRLSmilies/45ab1e3e.gif)

There was this one girl a year older than that was hospitalized my junior year, but I don't remember what it was for, but she died later in the year.
During my sophomore year, I had this really cool history teacher that was chill and everyone loved. He passed away the following summer.
Also, I know this doesn't count, but during my sophomore year, I was hanging around this other forum site and became friends with this one guy. Eventually, he became inactive and I started to become inactive too shortly afterwards, so I set my profile so that only my online friends could see it and left a link to my Facebook page so that any of my friends from the forum site that still wanted to chat could friend and message me. I stopped using Facebook too for a while and I guess my friend that was inactive on the site started going on more and he realized I was inactive and sent me a friend request on Facebook, but since I wasn't using Facebook at the time, I never saw his friend request until several months later. I stalked his profile before accepting his request and I saw a bunch of comments on his wall saying how everyone misses him and I didn't realize he had died until I read further down. I'm not sure how he died but he was diabetic. I haven't accepted his friend request still because I'm afraid it'll pop up on his friends' feeds and freak them out, but I really wish I checked Facebook earlier, so we could've talked more. His dad and little brother still write posts on his wall and it's really sad.

No one died during the school years, but a lot of people died after graduation.
This girl who's name Quita who was shot at a party a year after graduation.

This really cute guy named Garrett who was in my chorus classes that ended up killing himself a year later as well. His mother was our chorus teacher so it was even more heartbreaking for us because we knew and loved both of them

and article about her: http://pilotonline.com/news/local/ed...824647670.html
This VERY sweet girl named AJ who graduated a year after us went missing for a really long time, and they ended up finding the remains of her body about two cities over. Her autopsy stated that she died of a heroin overdose. People think that her step dad had a lot to do with her death because her boyfriend, and her closest friends said that they never suspected her to do drugs or showed any alarming signs. Her step dad was really suspicious in the whole thing and they even found some of her stuff at his house

And he didn't die, but he killed his parents.

He was gay, and during my senior I snatched this guy that he liked, and ended up stalking us and staying PLANTED in my DMs. He even sent me nudes once and they're still there ![deadbanana3](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/bananas/deadbanana3_zpsa2d36eca.gif) He was extremely creepy but no one expected him to actually do that..
EDIT:
Also this kid who was a freshman when I was senior committed suicide last year

A kid with mental disabilities committed suicide due to bullying in 10th grade. I never knew him but it was still really sad.

A guy from the grade above me. He was really weird, a creep even, and people would try to avoid him. I was always nice to him because I knew he had good intentions. The weirdest thing I knew he had done was poo all over the bathroom and wipe it on the walls and floor. He died about a month after graduating. It's really sad. He deserved better.
Cheers. 🍻

There was an incident that has stuck with me since it happened. A boy, his girlfriend, and his parents were driving to the beach for vacation, and they got in a really bad wreck. The boy's parents and girlfriend died instantly, and he was paralyzed from the waist down. He was also one of our best football players, and I believe he wanted to play in college, but he no longer could. However, he is able to walk now, which is a small glimmer of positivity in a horrible situation.
Another incident happened shortly after I graduated that had a profound effect on me. Two students and a teacher were driving on the interstate for driver education, and they got in a wreck. The student driver and instructor walked away without a scratch, but the girl in the backseat died.

A girl committed suicide senior year, I didn't know her but saw her around, she was quiet and there were rumors that she was bullied, but I'm not sure if they were true. She hung herself in her room and her mother found her
