Stars Dance was supposed to be her last album but she changed her mind. Maybe she's into it now that she has more creative freedom with her new label but before she was adamant on sticking to acting.
IIRC, the festival is taking place in some very small town out in the middle of nowhere. So the people in region would literally go see anyone perform, even Toni Braxton(who is a one hit wonder in Canada), because there's nothing else to do night after night so a concert is something very unique for them. Like I said, any artist would have gotten that 100k crowd if youre playing to people who have one corner store and gas station in town
