In their demands, they're saying funding was cut.
Though part of it is probably that there's not even space of funding to begin with to take away. If you have floats and stages for straight companies and ally groups (that are usually predominantly white), how can you not also find room for QPOC and disabled LGBT folks?
I'm sure Toronto Pride will say they tried to find space and were "working diligently" on it now that BLM have gone public with their demands and try to ease their mess-up in how homogenized the delegation of space/funding was.
