People can come out, or not come out, however they want to. It's all about having the agency to do what you please in terms of sharing your sexuality. Some people aren't willing to do interviews about their sexuality right away and want to wait until later. This guy is full of ****.
Idk who this guy is but his comment on Eric Stonestreet is spot on, what I don't really agree with is his comments about Colton, if he has the bravery to come out to the public (having already come out to his friends/fam) knowing how much people talk & the stigma that's still out there when he didn't really have to, it should be applauded not ridiculed. :/

My dating life is already pretty ****** because I look like a 12-year-old. Being on TV just adds another level of difficulty to the dating thing. First of all, I’m gay, and that’s just hard because gays are naturally a promiscuous collective of people. So there’s the lack of monogamy and then there’s me looking like a 12-year-old.
And then

It's embarrassing because he thought he was being ~bold~ and ~outspoken~ but he actually came across as a bitter, slimy twink who lacks self-awareness. He's that little bitch that finally catches hands for running his annoying mouth and nobody feels bad when it happens.
