I'd say some of it will be bussy bopping songs, I mean Epic, My Steelo and Lento/Veloce scream bops, I can guarantee it, it definitely won't be as somber as Alla mia età and Nessuno è solo, that's for sure. It will be probably be like Rosso Relativo 2.0 and 111 Centoundici 2.0 and I cannot wait, I'm disappointed that it is such a short album at 46 minutes but it should be one of his best.



The price of the CD for UK release of Il Mestiere Della Vita has been reduced to £15.67 rather than £26.19 and that means it will only cost me £17.66 with delivery instead of costing me £28.18 with delivery.

Why are there American and Canadian songwriters? How would they be able to understand Italian and the way that Tiziano writes his lyrics? I'm confused, will there be any songs that he didn't co-write and that he wrote on his own? I know that Potremmo Ritornare was so far the only song that he wrote the lyrics on his own to.

If it's a foreign writer then they helped with the music, definitely not the lyrics. I think since he wanted to do something different and go out of his comfort zone, he had to collaborate with others.

So far 9 of the 13 songs have a confirmed co-writer. These are still up in the air

I doubt it would be an iTunes or Spotify exclusive as it's on Amazon Music as well for preorder and it will be on other music services, I know in the UK it will be on HMV Digital, Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Groove Music and Amazon Music, I won't get my physical copy of Il Mestiere Della Vita for another week so I'm not worried and I've preordered it on the Italian iTunes store, so I'll get it when it hits 12:00am Friday in Italy, so for me that's at 11:00pm on Thursday night, so I can't wait!

“Sono 3 canzoni diversissime tra loro – dice il musicista di Varazze – “Valore assoluto” è il brano al quale sono più legato. Quando Tiziano mi mandò la versione finita, mi ricordo di essere arrivato al ritornello e di essermi commosso. Fa l’effetto di salire su per una strada in salita e all’inciso finalmente si apre una discesa dolcissima. E’ il brano che ho scritto con lui, che preferisco. La sua voce qui è oltremodo memorabile. Per “Il conforto” mi ha fatto un’autentica sorpresa, trasformandolo in un duetto struggente con la strepitosa Carmen Consoli. Il testo ha parole che significano e scavano in profondità. Con Lento/Veloce, che dei tre è il più recente, invece, sfido chiunque a stare fermo, trascinante e modernissimo, un sorriso lungo 3 minuti”.

They are three very different songs. "Valore assoluto" is the one I'm most connected to. When Tiziano sent me the finished version, I remember getting to the chorus and feeling moved. It has the effect of climbing up a steep road and at the riff you finally start your sweet descent. It's the song that I wrote together with him, it's my favorite. His voice here is especially memorable. "Il conforto" really surprised me, he turned it into a heart rending duet with the amazing Carmen Consoli. The lyrics are very meaningful and dig deep. With "Lento/veloce", the most recent of the three, I challenge anyone to stay still, it's exhilirating and very modern, a three minute long smile.
