Drakes album is streaming everywhere and Beyonce's is not. It is affecting her streams to sales ratios. It skews it in favor of sales but even with that she's not able to hit #1 so.... The truth is Beyonce just cut herself out of the public eye TBQH... I can't see how this will work out in her favor long term.

Views is an underwhelming album with awful reviews. Even with all the massive promo, the general public would rather stream the album than actually pay for it.

If you already have access to the album via streaming why would you buy it? You posts assume people will spend twice as much money for the same thing. It makes no sense. The vast majority of the record buying public doesn't want Tidal and will never want it. So they just bought the album and kept it moving. They have their song thing they wanted. Had drake done the same thing you'd see the same situation going on but when all is said and done his album and songs are more popular.

But I love how you guys say a 2 months old performance can help an album, released two months later, to sell (and keeping it selling 1 month and a half after release, so 4 months after the performance!!! ). Hope a lot of pop stars will do that now.

An era was declared sis. The anticipation made the promotion going.

And yeah sis, a lot of pop stars have been doing that. My fave, Taylor , when she performed shake it off in the VMAs, she didn't just promote SIO but also its parent album, 1989

and I mean, whether or not Bey having her album up on streaming services gives her an advantage, she'd still be dragging him in sales. and let us not act like Bey doesn't have streaming power when BEYONCÉ was uploaded to Spotify a year after release and is close to 1B streams. Legends only
