I heard that too... but I also heard that Microsoft made it's own Facebook and Twitter app built-in to W8 instead and rumour has it, that's what they're doing for Instagram too (it is owned by Facebook, so it doesn't seem like too much of a stretch). I suppose its not officially confirmed, but I find it weird that they'd throw it into the preview if it wasn't happening. They might be referring to the People application for FB/Twitter though. Then again, Apple made it's own Youtube app. Nokia apparently wasn't allowed to show people much of W8 because Microsoft told them not to. There's so much conflicting info about this system that I get confused lol. But its Windows... there's always a way with windows - always
. Not too worried regardless.
It's still the first system to allow any program you'd run on a PC W8 to also run on a tablet, so if it's ready for Metro on PC, it'll be ready to use on tablet (who knows if it'll do this well though...). I saw the Office 2013 gesture guide for Windows 8 (tablet) and it doesn't seem so bad. I'm personally not sold on tablets in general, but we'll see if they manage to translate the PC experience to tablet, I'd be much more interested in investing in one.
I suppose we'll find out for sure in like... two weeks? Three weeks? Getting close
