There's actually a lot of variation. The things I wrote for Season 3, which I won, were different to what I would have written for Season 4, which I couldn't write in because I was a judge. There will be a different challenge every week which requires the contestants to fulfill a certain criteria, whether it be inserting a specific word into their song or writing in a certain genre. If you haven't competed before, you'll see what it's like. You should always try to change it up a little bit, repetitiveness gets annoying.
