wow I just realised two things: 1. It's only $9.99 and 2. It's advertised all over the place !! It has a banner in hip hop and main page ! Plus a little ad in pop section too !!
The album was alright. I give it a 7.5/10. I still feel he's overrated as hell and people are just hopping on his d*ck because Rap is pretty dull right now and people like to hype. Other than that, I've heard ridiculous things such as his song "Best I Ever Had" was one of the best Hip-Hop songs of the decade and so on. He couldn't even touch legends like Tupac, Biggie, Run DMC, yall already know...
But then again, nobody appreciates good rap anymore. That's why we have people like Soulja Boy LOL.

More people are buying the indiviual songs instead of the album. that could affect his album sales
I was kinda thinking that's where he was going but needed confirmation. Maybe people are realizing that the album isn't all that and just download the songs they like. But that's neither here nor there. I fully expected this album to sell loads first week. Americans (I am one too) feed into hype way too much.
That doesn't mean much. You still have the physical sales, which his fanbase will purchase more of, and the album is #1 (last I read) on iTunes. Many popular albums have their album tracks clog up the singles section the first week.
