Everybody who's nominated for AOTY is always asked to perform at the Grammys from what I know & her fans insisted her to perform "All Too Well", it was never about the promo. It's a mess that you think the biggest artist in the US can't get any promo slot they want.

Idk why people act like Taylor WON'T do the Superbowl in the future... it's every artists dream that makes it big in the mainstream to perform at that event. It isn't about the promo opportunity, but the prestige of performing in front of over 100 MILLION people in the US.
It's an honor, one of the highest ones outside of winning the Grammys.
Taylor's team would never pass up the opportunity to get her to perform there if the opportunity presented itself. I wonder why Billboard also predicted Taylor to perform in 2017... HMMM
