Gotye and Kimbra take another week at number one this week, tying fun. and Janelle Monae for the most weeks at the top in 2012. One more week, and "Somebody" will take the crown for itself unless something else comes along later in the year and outmatches it.
An interesting chart quirk: both songs are the only past and present number ones on the chart, both are at opposing ends of the top ten, and both have tallied the same number of weeks at the top. Something... obscure that hasn't happened before.
OTHER NOTES:
Kimbra inches closer to the top ten as her solo hit, "Settle Down," inches forward 15-13.
"Wild Ones" has nudged down 11-12, but it can be assumed that it will regain its ground as songs that are currently in the top ten progressively lose their footing.
Ellie Goulding's "Lights" edges forward with Greatest Gainer honors this week.
Drake and Rihanna's "Take Care" stumbles even further with the greatest decrease this week. However, it has been put into a newly instated "power rotation" status, which should allow it to see a second wind in the coming weeks.
POWER ROTATION:
"Somebody That I Used To Know" - Gotye featuring Kimbra
"Bangarang" - Skrillex featuring Sirah
"Call Me Maybe" - Carly Rae Jepsen
"212" Azealia Banks featuring Lazy Jay
"Take Care" - Drake featuring Rihanna
A YEAR AGO: Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" begins a 5-week reign, dethroning Katy Perry's "E.T. (featuring Kanye West)"

Those last five songs in your Bubbling Under need to debut
Well, it doesn't really look likely right now, but with this "power rotation" thing I'm implementing, which is just a separate playlist with only five songs in it that are more likely to catch my attention every week, and subsequently get more plays than the other songs in my main playlist.
If it sounds confusing still, let me know, and I'll try to explain it better.
Haven't done one of these in a while! I think after this week, I'll be listing the Power Rotation songs here, but until then...

Nope. I know. I also do a playlist of current songs. But it all varies when I play them outside the playlist a lot. Well I hope so. At least 1 week. The song is really good

Gotye and Kimbra have successfully surpassed fun. and Janelle Monae at having the longest running chart topper of 2012 so far. One more week, and they will make the all-time list (as displayed in the OP).
OTHER NOTES:
This chart week is rather slow-moving, as We Are The In Crowd earns Greatest Gainer honors for the week. "Kiss Me Again" featuring Alex Gaskarth (of All Time Low) only advances 6 spots 39-33.
"Is Anybody Out There?" by K'Naan featuring Nelly Furtado posts the greatest decrease of 12 spots from 20-32.
The top ten sees one new song this week, as Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" moves up 3 spots from 11-8.
Skrillex holds at the runner-up slot for a second week. It has potential to climb to the top in the next chart week, but will surely face stiff competition from Gotye.
This week, "The Crow, The Owl, And The Dove" by Nightwish gains a new peak at number 3. This single is their best performing follow-up to a number one to date, as "Bye Bye Beautiful" peaked at number 4 in 2008. It will possibly progress even higher, as it has consistently been gaining points.
"Take Care" by Drake featuring Rihanna rebounds back into the top 20, posting spin gains due to the "Power Rotation" playlist.
A YEAR AGO: Adele continued her reign with "Rolling In The Deep" as it posted a second week at number one.
