not really, they're just very ignorant about it. they've never been confronted with homosexuality and they don't know much about it, it was basically a taboo for them until it started to come up more and more in the media and everywhere. I'm not gay but I'm always trying to make them more accepting of gays when discussions come up.

Yes, very much so. They're super Christian and deem homosexuality and other 'strange' things they don't understand demonic or devilish. My dad recently even went as far as to say that Obama supporting gay marriage is leading America to Satan...

I know my father doesn't like the gays but he lives in another state so

My mom isn't a homophobe she thinks they're funny and nice but she doesn't want her only son being gay.

My dad doesn't care at all, he still loves me very much so.

My mom is kinda iffy, she was hesitant when I came out and tried telling me that teenagers are often confused about their sexuality (that teenagers mistake their gay urges or something idek). I told her to drop it and have no time for blatant ignorance and we pretty much haven't talked since. We never talk about my sexuality.
