Her performing skills and work ethics are truly otherworldly.

Eh he was more talented as a dancer and songwriter but he doesn't come anywhere close to her vocal ability (in spite of being a great singer in his own right), but I think that's where the comparison to Michael from a perspective of talent and offerings does both MJ and Bey a disservice altogether, anyway.
The reason why both of them were and are so great is that both of them offered skill sets never before seen. In Michael, no one had seen anything like what he could do and command on a stage combined with his abilities as a songwriter and visionary and with Bey, there is no vocalist at her extremely elite technical level that can also dance/perform at such an extremely high level as well. Michael was the first and only Michael and Beyoncé is the first and only Beyoncé.
Anyway, it's not even necessary to even go there in this case as the person that initiated this topic did not compare them on any level deeper than their work ethic, dedication to craft, self awareness and focus. I guess people in this thread that are looking to discredit are either pretending they can't hear or read or are seriously exposing some deep comprehension issues continuing to run in to talk about a bunch of irrelevant things regarding their talent/stats that Simon never said or claimed.
I guess that's easier than trying to deny what he actually said.
