Oregon is FULL of hick hunters. That's all we have. Now our fishing department is much like what you describe though. Not that I still agree with it.

To the vegans in this thread; shouldn't a plant be guaranteed this right as well? It is a living thing after all. It produces offspring, it is alive, it thrives off the earth, just as animal does. It also supplies one of our primary resources as well (aka, oxygen). Just because it doesn't produce a sound or movement makes it more acceptable to eat rather than animal? What's the difference?

Oh. Our area doesn't do anything smaller than deer, or at least don't advertise it as much. I dated a man once that enjoys bear hunting with his friends.

I wasn't talking about my beliefs. I was talking about my state. lol. Oregon's fishing industry is probably one of the biggest because of our Salmon numbers. (I think. Obviously I haven't researched into this, I'm just going off what others tell me.)
