Not really... at least not in Italy. Your boss doesn't give a single **** about what you do in your private life as long as you're a good worker, and that's exactly how it should be. Thank goodness I don't live in a country full of SJWs.

Internet has really messed up our perception of reality. Those people just typed it out of their fingers, they didn't even move their jaws once. When on the internet, we tend to think it's not a big deal, it's just a comment. Race has been made such a huge deal on social media, I feel the only person that should have been fired was the guy who took the photo. Other people were just commenting, not any different than Reddit. If it's that bad, why isn't anyone getting fired over their Reddit comments?
Your representation online is still you and still illustrates your character. This is something all professionals have to consider. A lot of professional jobs require their employees to represent their company in the best light. It was wise of them to fire them as opposed to getting the backlash for having such people work for them, which would cause the company uneccesary stress. Don't like it, then start your own business and become your own boss.
Let's be real, he will have a new job within a week. It's not like America to condem white people for being racist. They disappear for a week to let everyone forget and then they're back @ it and on their way.
