Okay but during the 4 era she performed RTW at the BBMAs, Love On Top at the VMAs, pretty sure she performed 1+1 on some TV show too. And then during the BEYONCE era she performed DIL at the Grammys, XO at the Brits. Let's not act like she did nothing to promote her singles before the Lemonade era.
4 era was 5 years ago, let it go. And she performed DIL at the Grammys and it became a hit so what is your argument here?
It's been painfully obvious for a while now, Beyonce purposely sabotages her own singles performance, the fact that 'Formation' went unlisted that long, and 'Sorry' and 'Hold Up' took ages to hit vevo
But Beyonce has transcended hits and anyone who denies this is being dumb. When you can go on a WW completely sold out Stadium tour it shows that her audience is intact and will see her regardless of what the radio is playing.
Beyonce's most recent music also doesn't sound too commercial and she's 35 years old, radio isn't really here for her like it was 10 years ago obviously.
For all we know it's Tidal motivated restriction and nothing else sis.
There's no such thing as real art sweetie. Hope you open your mind a little more, it'd be pretty sad to pass on things because you deem them as "inferior" art.
You already judge people opinion's value based on their musical taste, don't make it worse
She doesn't need to care about hits when she already has them. And let's not act like if she didn't have Crazy In Love, Single Ladies ect.. that she'd be were she is now selling out stadiums.
Clearly. Beyoncé could have had 4 songs debut in the top 10 had she put them on Spotify. Formation could have been a top 5 or maybe a 1 hit if release.
Lol don't count you chicks from egg that haven't even been laid. The songs would have been frontloaded and stayed in the top 10 for a week like it did and tumble down the charts.
She literally said this during LIBAD. Bey doesn't even service her singles like many of these pop girls do, and she could care less about being VEVO certified. Formation still isn't on VEVO, and Hold Up was delayed for weeks.
Between that and the countless producers confirming that she isn't concerned about hits, what else do y'all need?
Hold Up & Sorry went for radio adds and the entire album was serviced to radios tho. But yeah it's obvious she isn't trying to get a hit with her current era, it just wasn't the case before this era.

No it wasn't! How many times do you people need to be told that?

Nah I would say it happened after pop radio snubbed XO. From then on, she stopped caring about the whole single era fiasco and centered her attention more on urban radio, which embraced her with open arms.
The way she actively sabotaged Formation is still making me fume. Who the f**k would perform a new single on the biggest stage on Earth then give it away for free on Tidal while unlisting its MV on youtube and not putting it on Spotify or Apple Music??
Talent lost.
She prolly don't give a dang about hits when she selling albums and booking sold out tours..
I'd rather have those things than quick little hits tbh.
Crazy In Love and Singles Ladies will be more remembered than Lemonade down the line. Y'all are really too much, very few albums actually end up iconic (BEYONCE will/is), it's singles that cements artists, always has.
People on here wouldn't know real art if it hit them in the face.
I have listened to all of her albums including lemonade. And it's great as a body of work but i find many of it's lyrics weak. But don't let that stop you from your blind foaming at the mouth stanning!

Tidal needed subscribers, you pretty much answer your own question. But Beyoncé's fan will serve us this BS that she doesn't want success, because they can't take it that she made a business mistake by following her husband

From all the artists that claim or pretend to not care about the hits and avoid promotion, I feel like Beyoncé is the only one who genuinely doesn't care anymore.
