Because I know Mediabase and Billboard charts arent the same but obviously one holds more importance over the other I was just making that distinction. It wont be as big of a deal if Pink blocks Gaga from #1 on the pop chart than it would be if Gaga blocked pink on Billboard.

Well general public doesn't know/give a damn about either, it's just an opinion after all. But obviously people mostly refer to Hot 100 when they say "#1 hit".

Considering GaGa's huge start on Pop radio, P!nk blocking her would be very interesting to see. If it were any other artist, you'd be laughing right along with anyone pointing it out. Also, I've seen plenty of articles reference GaGa having 6 #1 singles, not noting on the Pop radio chart. They are all of equal importance because, as you noted, all compiles the Hot 100.

Well if it wasn't for FP leapfrogging over it, It cud have peaked higher, so it blocked it in a sense. (They were both having positive updates when Pink pulled ahead)

As said, nothing "blocked" Britney from #1, because it never had a chance. Its updates slowed severely, and Enrique & Bruno were too far ahead. In reference to your other post, P!nk leapfrogging it also isn't necessarily a block, because again Britney was already peaking when P!nk was coming up.
"Born This Way" is still in the running for #1, there's no doubt about that. This time last week, "Perfect" was almost completely out of the running, but now it seems like P!nk can get in one week before Lady Gaga takes it.
After P!nk and Lady Gaga, it looks like the running for the next #1s will be Cee Lo Green (), Rihanna, Ke$ha, Katy Perry, and The Black Eyed Peas. I can't say anything about Britney Spears yet, as "Til the World Ends" could do pretty much anything at this point.
