Who the **** said this opinion by Ask Billboard's column writer Gary was about one defining artist? I didn't say **** about "the most" anything, but a mention. Other decades have several artists mentioned.

Well we are living in this one, and for the 00's he decided to name the top 2 artists who OBVIOUSLY defined the decade since the ****ing chart was just released no more than one year ago.

No one is here to mention the 8th most successful artist of the '00s, if thats the case he would have had to mention the entire damn Top 10 when thats not what this was about.
Someone asked what artist (singular) defined the different decades, and he answered with a male and a female respectively. Its obvious the answer to the last decade would go quick since we just went over it.

Leaving out Bon Jovi, Green Day, No Doubt, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake/NSYNC, Usher, & Christina Aguilera? That's just wrong. I have nothing against Beyonce and I love GaGa, but their achievements are being "overhyped". Let's be honest, Britney was always bigger than DC in popularity and continues to be against Beyonce. People are going to look back at this era with Britney defining it all, not Beyonce. It's not opinion, it's not delusion, it's just facing the facts. Brit's always been the more talked about one. Beyonce is extremely talented too, but she isn't the bigger star.

They would have to write a god damn book if they were to mention all those names. Obviously Billboard went off their top artist for the decade list which Eminem topped for males and Bey for females. And saying Brit is a bigger star??? Well I would have to go to SYG to say what I want about that... but stans never wanna go there

You are contradicting yourself. Are you saying that the opinion of that Billboard writer is based on that chart? If that's true then Mariah would be mentioned on the 90's and not Nirvana & Sarah Mclachlan.
What we're trying to say is that this is just his opinion of the artists & songs that defined the decade.
