She needs to connect with the US public.
The US need to fall in love with Rihanna like the UK has - and that's why Loud was such a huge success there, she did brilliant promo, everyone knew about her album, and everyone loved the singles. She was at the forefront of everyone's minds too with the X factor gate.
I think she should do some high profile interviews or something. In general her persona is extremely likeable and she has the ability to be "cool" - she rides the perfect balance between appealing to all kinds of people too. A horrible lack of promotion has stunted this era. Everyone who has a high profile status in the industry realises the importance of building buzz on their albums, except Rihanna.
