Give me some examples of major artists that churned out global hits on the level of Gaga and Katy that are no longer remembered today. It's not "how it works." You have to be able to change with the times and trends.

I don't feel like she's saying anything different than these folks on here. It's funny that she thinks that both Katy and Gaga won't have any longevity outside of their dominating eras, while the monsters and kats have been fighting back and forth about who's the next Madonna.
Problem with Wendy is she often see's things from a very urban point of view and has a strong black bias. She just doesnt relate or have interest in many white artists or even TV shows. Hence her not knowing who Lana is. Hence her celebrating Beyonce, Mariah & JLO(all urban friendly artists). Thats fine, there are many middle aged white presenters on TV who dont connect or relate to black culture much either.
But she doesn't speak for the masses.
PS; to equate having secret lipo to having a secret affair was so stupid. Even her Stepford wife sycophantic audience didnt clap in agreement for once.
If she had a strong black bias, she wouldn't have sided with Charlie Sheen (a white man!) over Rihanna (a black woman!), or praised Madonna's earlier stuff in this video. I don't like Wendy, but let's not insinuate that she is a 'racist!' against the whites. There are a lot of reasons to think Katy and Gaga won't be much a decade from now.

but she's comparing artists who've experienced longevity in their careers (J.Lo, Beyonce, freaking Mariah Carey?) to two pop stars who have been around for five years.
